Will there be an EU Armada to secure the Spanish conquest of Gibraltar?

An EU Armada off the coast of Gibraltar?

Breaking news:

BREXIT THREAT: Spain will ‘take control of Gibraltar as soon as Britain leaves EU’

SPANISH officials have sent a chilling warning to Britain after claiming they will take Gibraltar the day after Britain potentially exits the European Union.

The country's Foreign Minister said his country will poach the British outpost “the very next day” but the comments have been condemned in the UK.

The big question is now, whether there will be an EU Armada off the coast of Gibraltar to secure the expected Spanish conquest of Gibraltar after Brexit? Members of the club are required to give a helping hand, should there be a need. We certainly live in exciting times ....

Life in luxury for EU "Ambassadors": "complete make over" in order to "reflect the personality of the Ambassador"

A few years ago the new EU Ambassador to Singapore appointed the international design and architecture firm dwp to redesign his modest (about 600 m²) residence. Here is how dwp describes the result:

The project incorporated all areas of the 6,000sqft two storey property in a complete make over which was to reflect the personality of the Ambassador himself, be cogniscent of the level of entertaining and visitors that the Ambassador has to deal with through normal duties and of course to be ever mindful that this is a "home".

The formal rooms of the residence were designed so that the Ambassador's personal collection of artifacts, pictures and photographs could be displayed to become features of the rooms without being overbearing. The collections of photographs are really quite outstanding and were all taken during the Ambassador's travels around Asia. The images convey the simplicity of the living style whilst conveying these Asian tones. The informal areas including the kitchen, the study and the family rooms are designed to better reflect the personality of the occupants. The rooms are based on a simple efficiency of space making all areas uniquely usable. Lighting is controllable and intimate whilst furnishings are chosen for comfort rather than making a statement of personality ensuring that the residence conveys and is used as home rather than a showcase.

Keep in mind that the EU Singapore "ambassador" has at least 138 colleagues, who live in residences, which "reflect the personality of the Ambassador himself". The European Union has to be the ideal customer for design and architecture firms like dwp. An EU "ambassador" stays for about three years, after which it is time for "a complete make over to reflect the personality" of his successor ... !

A brief description of the EU in action: "poorly designed, badly managed, chaotically supervised"

Another example of what the EU has become:

European Union aid to halt migration is so poorly managed that Jean-Claude Juncker’s officials are unable to say how much has been spent, a scathing report has found.
The finding by the European Court of Auditors came as leaders gathered in Brussels to haggle over €6 billion of aid to Turkey. Britain is prepared to pay its share of £500 million, in exchange for Turkey accepting the deportation of tens of thousands of asylum seekers and economic migrants.
An estimated €1.4 billion of EU overseas aid was spent in countries such as Algeria, Georgia, Moldova, Morocco and Ukraine on Europe’s periphery in order to halt migration between 2007 and 2013.
But the report warned the projects are poorly designed, badly managed, chaotically supervised and, as a result, are often ineffective.

One can only hope that the British by voting for Brexit will bring this monster a huge step closer to the end ...

Brexit benefit: UK taxpayers would not have to pay for thousands of useless EU "diplomats"

The European Union employs thousands of people who live in luxury around the world, representing the "empire". By voting for Brexit UK taxpayers would at least not anymore have to pay for these completely useless "diplomats".

Top US NATO general Hodges commits a grave error on Brexit

A top US general completely out of touch with reality:

A vote to leave the EU could threaten the Nato alliance at a time of Russian aggression in the east, the head of the US Army in Europe has warned.
Lieutenant-General Frederick “Ben” Hodges raised concerns that the European Union could unravel in the event of a Brexit, weakening efforts to resist Russian expansionism in Europe and the Middle East if Britons vote to leave the EU on June 23.
Speaking to the BBC, Lt-Gen Hodges said the result of the referendum on June 23 is of "strategic interest".

Yes, there is a possibility that the EU would begin to unravel (something we should welcome!), but that would not in any way weaken NATO, unless some NATO members deliberately choose to weaken the alliance! General Hodges has committed a serious error and will most likely be removed as soon as there is a new (Republican) president!

Earth Hour 2016 organizers urge people to "shine a light"!

Soon it is again time for the annual madness called the "Earth Hour". This year the campaign slogan seems to be "Shine a light on climate action". That´s really a good one - On the evening of March 19, I will most certainly switch on all available lights in order shine a light on the global warming hoax!

Obama´s "outrageous and exorbitant hypocrisy" with regard to Brexit

We are told that Barack Obama is planning a visit to the UK in order to urge British voters to stay in the EU.

Before arriving Obama should read what Boris Johnson writes:

The American view is very clear. Whether in code or en clair, the President will tell us all that UK membership of the EU is right for Britain, right for Europe, and right for America. And why? Because that – or so we will be told – is the only way we can have “influence” in the counsels of the nations.
It is an important argument, and deserves to be taken seriously. I also think it is wholly fallacious – and coming from Uncle Sam, it is a piece of outrageous and exorbitant hypocrisy.
There is no country in the world that defends its own sovereignty with such hysterical vigilance as the United States of America. This is a nation born from its glorious refusal to accept overseas control. Almost two and a half centuries ago the American colonists rose up and violently asserted the principle that they – and they alone – should determine the government of America, and not George III or his ministers. To this day the Americans refuse to kneel to almost any kind of international jurisdiction. Alone of Western nations, the US declines to accept that its citizens can be subject to the rulings of the International Criminal Court in The Hague. They have not even signed up to the Convention on the Law of the Sea. Can you imagine the Americans submitting their democracy to the kind of regime that we have in the EU?
