Former Bank of England Governor: The Euro is doomed

Lord King, former Bank of England governor is spot on:

Lord King, who headed the bank for 10 years, said the EU's single currency system is set to lurch from crisis to crisis for years ahead. 
And he warned that the drive towards political union among the 19 euro-zone nations will not help save the project from eventual disintegration. 
The forecast comes in a new book written by the peer, who is better known as Mervyn King.

Brexit would save Europe from itself!

This is exactly what I have been saying for a some time now:

It is those who love Europe, its diversity, its history and its humanity who should be the most enthusiastic about Brexit. A paradox? Not at all. The European Union, as currently constituted, has run out of road. It is doomed to fail, sooner or later, with catastrophic consequences for our part of the world, and the only way forward is for one major country to break ranks and show that there can be a better alternative consistent with Europe’s core enlightenment values.--

The EU faces a long-term economic, demographic and cultural implosion, and is staring down the abyss of illegitimacy. A small subset of European countries may be able to pull something off, and merge. I’m sceptical even of that, but it’s certainly one possibility. But we need a new model of European cooperation for those who realise that neither the status quo nor more integration is the answer.
That is where Brexit comes in. A British departure from the EU, if executed correctly, could save Europe from itself: it would create a plan B, a workable alternative for those countries that want to be part of an integrated Europe but are unhappy at the direction of travel.

EU president Juncker orders eurosceptics to visit war graves

A strange man, this Jean-Claude Juncker:

The European Commission president bizarrely ordered eurosceptics to visit WAR GRAVES to try and avoid a breakdown in peace between nations.
The desperate leader warned voters not to repeat the "enormous stupidity" of two world wars in the astonishing attack.
Patronising Juncker accused Brexit voters of forgetting the role the EU has played in the years since the Second World War. 

Mr Juncker warned "peace is never a sure thing" and appeared to mock David Cameron's EU deal saying the prime minister was grateful for his help in resolving his "self-induced problem". 
The former prime minister of Luxembourg said: "Whoever does not believe in Europe, whoever doubts Europe, whoever despairs of Europe, should visit the war cemeteries in Europe."

The good thing is of course, that the more Mr. Juncker goes on like this, the better for those who want Britain to leave the EU.

Putin inspects his future escape car

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has inspected the vehicles at his disposal when he - at some stage, hopefully in the not too distant future - is driven out of the country he has terrorized for far too long now.

Not much room in the well protected vehicles, but the KGB FSB interior decorators have at least made certain that Putin´s extravagant $700,000 watch collection fits in ...

The silver lining: Angela Merkel is probably the best "ally" for the Brexit supporters

German chancellor Angela Merkel is probably the single person who is most responsible for the current migration crisis in Europe. The already brain dead European Union is on the verge of implosion, very much as a result of the policies of this "conservative" former DDR propaganda officer:

EUROPE was plunged into unprecedented crisis tonight as EU leaders lined up to rip chunks out of each other on the worst day of migrant chaos to date.
As tear gas rained down on rioting migrants in Greece and France bickering countries squabbled over who should take the blame for the spiralling crisis which shows no sign of slowing.
Once again the cavernous divisions between different EU countries were laid bare for all to see, with Angela Merkel angrily defending Germany's role in the chaos amid sniping from other member states.
In a day of unprecedented migrant violence thousands of refugees smashed down a border fence between Macedonia and Greece whilst inhabitants of the Calais Jungle camp set fires and hurled rocks at police as they attempted to avoid eviction.

But the carnage wrought in those riots was matched by the diplomatic damage being done to the EU as member states turned on each other in savage fashion.
Mrs Merkel was on the back foot as she voiced her "despair" at other European nations which fail to share her dream for open door immigration.
Many EU states now deeply resent Germany and blame its leader for unleashing millions of migrants on the continent after she rashly promised all Syrians asylum.

However, there is no reason to worry too much. There is a silver lining to this sad state of affairs: The longer Mrs. Merkel is allowed to cling on to her job, the better for the growing number of British Brexit supporters - and indirectly for the future of a new and better Europe!

British general and military historian debunks Camerons claim that leaving EU would harm national security

Major-General Julian Thomson, eminent military historian and former Royal Marines officer who commanded 3 Commando Brigade during the Falklands War, destroys David Cameron´s claim that "Leaving Europe would threaten our economic and our national security" in a must read article:

The myth that leaving the EU would harm British national security must be destroyed once and for all

Myth One is that the EU has kept the peace in Europe since 1945. Former Commission President Barosso claimed that the EU stops us going back to trench warfare. This is nonsense. Look at the facts. What brought peace to Europe after 1945? The American Marshall Plan was largely instrumental in rebuilding European economies after the Second World War and restoring prosperity to a war-torn region. Secondly, from its inception in 1949, Nato deterred the Soviet Union from attacking; and deters the likes of Mr Putin to this day. And German fascism was burned out by their experience in the Second World War. They are now a peaceful nation. The EU wasn’t there, then. It didn’t start until the mid ‘50s.

But did the EU have a hand in keeping the peace later on? No. More facts: 1959-2011's Basque Conflict – the EEC/EC/EU played no part in resolution. 1968-1998: The "Troubles" in Northern Ireland – the EU did nothing to help end the violence. 1974: The Turkish Invasion of Cyprus – the EEC/EC/EU played no part in resolution.

So what about the Balkan conflicts of 1991-2013? 1991-1995: The Croatian War of Independence was mainly resolved thanks to the Nato-manned United Nations Protection Force (UNPROFOR). 1992-1995: The Bosnian War was resolved by Dayton Accords giving NATO authority for action. 1997: Unrest in Albania was resolved by Nato. 1998-1999:
The first Kosovo War was resolved by Nato. 2001: Insurgency in the Republic of Macedonia was resolved by Nato. 2004: Further unrest in Kosovo was resolved by UN/Nato. 2008: Yet more unrest in Kosovo was resolved by Nato. 2011-2013: North Kosovo Crisis was resolved by Nato, Conversely when people of EU member states, or of future member states, or of neighbouring nations needed help the EU failed. There is a pattern here."
