EU´s poet president meets the people

According to the Wall Street Journal there is no end in sight for the euro crisis:

"euro zone debt crisis will probably drag on for even longer, the ultimate costs of the bail outs will be even higher and the threat to the survival of the single currency even greater"

However, that does not seem to bother the European Union "President", Herman van Rompuy too much. Yesterday the haiku poet "king" descended from the corridors of power in Brussels in order to meet some of his grateful subjects:

The tall man behind Haiku Herman is Reijo Kemppinenthe European Council’s director-general for press and communication, who earns his living - a rather comfortable one - by organising this kind of "media opportunities".
